Peggy Gandy recently retired after 40 years of serving as the Society Editor and Social Scene Sunday columnist for The Daily Oklahoman. She also wrote a blog “Keeping it Lite”, a Sunday Datebook and numerous feature stories. Prior to that, she free lanced a weekly “Humor Me” column for the paper. She was a contributing editor of humor features for three local country club magazines for 20 years. She has written and performed humorous short segments for two local television stations. She was a Oklahoma Hospitality Club “Ladies in the News” honoree; Redlands, Council of Girl Scouts “Women of the Year honoree; Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra League “Women of Distinction” honoree.
